The concept of introducing more participants and the resultant increase in the returns acted as a stimulus. The idea of a family which was developed by these companies made people come closer and work together without unhealthy competition. The weekly, monthly and yearly gatherings increased this togetherness and the idea of the family became entrenched. The support given by the persons above one in the ladder was also tremendous. The multi level marketing companies brought forth a new work culture which was very positive. These companies were also quality conscious and special attention was given to maintain top quality for their products. Most companies began with one or two products. As the demand grew and the number of participants increased the number of products also went up. Incentives like a foreign trip with family, a new car, or special discounts on premium products acted as catalysts to the participants' performance.

Many well employed persons in the so called conventional companies gave up their jobs to join the band wagon. Most of them were criticized for what was thought as foolishness. But when they started earning much more than what they used to earn the critics became silent and later supporters. That was the reason for the fast development of multi level marketing companies.
