An MLM prelaunch is an opportunity provided by newly emerging multi marketing companies to promote their company even before they are launched.

This might be a very good idea to many distributors, because when a company is yet to begin, the competition is quite less and thus those people might be one of the very few distributors who even know about the company. This gives them a chance to grow their downline pretty quickly.

Distributors might think this is a very good opportunity for them. But there are many dangers in this. Most of these companies are complete scams. They don’t even last a few months, or they don’t intend to. They just want to cheat people of how much ever they can, so they can take off. Nothing comes easily in this world. So if a company promises thousands of dollars for doing almost nothing, then one has to think about it before committing oneself to it.

One of the main beliefs of many experts is that if a company provides a lot now, it will continue to do so even in the future, especially after establishing itself. So it is very important to wait a couple of years before starting on a particular company. But, there are many distributors who believed in these MLM pre-launches and spent a lot of money on it, to be finally cheated of all their hard earned money; while the company owners were spending it in some fantasy island. In such cases, they are stuck in a very bad situation because, not only did they lose their money, but their downline lost it too, and since they are responsible for their downline’s money, they have to pay them back, which is a problem in itself.

How to avoid these scams? The best way would be to avoid MLM prelaunch altogether. But sometimes, when the offers are too good, no one wants to miss it. In such a case, an experienced distributor will know the difference between a scam and a genuine company, however good or bad their offers are. The other way is to ask around. Check up on the company and the people starting it so you can get a clear idea of it. Always keep an eye open and don’t spend everything you have on the company. These tips might help.
