Use bit.ly to shorten your URLs
Here I am going to describe the process of shortening your URLs using bit.ly.
Sign up in the bit.ly site using your username, password and email id.
Then sign in using your username and password.
Paste your URL in the box which says “Shorten your links…..”. Click on Shorten button.
A shortened URL appears. Click on the Customize link if you want to customize the URL.
Then you can enter whatever you want after bit.ly/
Press Customize and you get your customized shortened URL. You can use this URL instead of your long URL in posts.
